On Wednesday, January 22, St Agnes Youth travelled to Indianapolis to participate in Indiana March for Life. Eleven youth
and five parishioners proudly represented our Parish to protest the legalization of abortion. The Youth purchased St. Agnes
hoodies that displayed the quote "Even the smallest life can change the course of the future!" -JRR Tolkien.
Mass was celebrated first before marching from St John the Evangelist church to the State House. The rally also included
praise music. This was St Agnes Youth's third annual March for Life in Indy but the first time the group encountered opposition
from people who were for abortion being legal. It was a testament to the crowd we were with because our group kept praying
and listening to the speakers while the other group ran out of steam and left. All in all, it was a day worth devoting to
March for Life!
