St. Agnes Lenten Mission
March 28 - April 1, 2020
We are excited to report that Fr. Rusty Shaughnessy will be returning to St. Agnes! Please save the dates of March 28
through April 1 for this Lenten Mission in Preparation for Holy Week.
Mission Theme: "Choosing Hope"

Mission Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday - the Mission will begin with the weekend liturgies
Monday, March 30 - 7:00 p.m. Reflection
Tuesday, March 31 - 7:00 p.m. Reflection
7:30 p.m. Sacrament of Reconciliation
Wednesday, April 1 - 7:00 p.m. Closing Mass with Homily as the reflection. A closing gathering will follow the Mass in
the Parish Hall
In addition to the Mission schedule, Fr. Rusty will also celebrate Mass at 8:00 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March
30, 31 and April 1.
Fr. Rusty is internationally recognized for his retreat ministry and is currently Director of the San Damiano Retreat
Center in Danville, CA. Before returning to San Damiano, Fr. Rusty was at Saints Jude and Simon Parish in Huntington Beach,
CA. He attended St. Mary's Seminary, Baltimore, MD, where he earned his MA in Theology. He has been assigned to several
large suburban parishes in the Chicago area, to a Retreat Center in Pecos, NM, to the Provincial House in Oakland, CA, San
Damiano Retreat Center, Danville, CA and also to the Old Mission Retreat Center, San Luis Rey, CA. He has traveled throughout
the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand giving Retreats, Workshops and Parish Missions.
